Scam Alert: The Perfect Craps System
The following video describes the perfect system for playing craps online. I must admit, the video is extremely interesting. But interesting doesn’t always mean accurate. I tested this system over a one hour time period while playing very low amounts with play money. The video claims that there is a 1 in 300 something chance that you will roll back to back 7’s. My results? 18/43. Conclusion: scam!

Wow. This guy is seriously retarded. He keeps harping on how “most people don’t win at this game because most people don’t understand probability.” Yet his entire system is based on a misunderstanding of one of the most basic statistical concepts: independent variables.
Each roll of the dice is an independent experiment. Rolling a 7 on your first roll does not change the probability that you’ll roll a 7 on your second roll. It’s like flipping a coin. Does the coin have to land tails up just because it landed heads up the first time you flipped it?

Ah, Craps, my true love! The reality is, depending on how you play, it’s the best odds in the house behind Black Jack (which is 50/50). Craps can be as good as 49/51. My system is this:
* Play the minimum on the pass.
* Put some odds behind that. Adjust upwards if point is set on the 6 or the 8.
* Play the minimum come bet whenever you’re up.
* If the come is set on the 6 or 8 place max odds.
* If the point / come is NOT on the 6 or 8 then place minimum bets on them. Press them one unit on the first win (press two units if you’re way the fuck up and the table is hot).
* Buy the 4 or 10 if you’re up and feeling jiggy.
* Never, ever, ever put money on the field bet or serious money on any part of the inside table. However, throw down a two way hard 4/6/8 for the dealers for good karma.
* When you’re up more than 50% put your initial money away and play with what you have left (e.g. if you’ve started with $200 and find yourself with $300+ in chips take the $200 off the table and start over with $100 of the house’s money).
The system I just described puts me up thousands over the last few years
(YMMV).
