How to Link Twitter to Facebook – A Twitter Tutorial

Over the past few months my blog has received thousands of hits a day from users looking for information on how they can link Twitter to Facebook. The following is a brief collection of links that will help all of you find what you need:

Twitter’s official page on how to add Twitter to Facebook. The Twitter app for Facebook integrates Twitter into your Facebook experience.

    I manage a fan page for the magazine I edit. When I try to link our Twitter account to FB using http://www.facebook.com/twitter/, I get the message “YTo use this feature, you will need to sign up for a personal Facebook profile.” Any other suggestions?

    Kate-that is b/c you cannot connect your twitter to a fan page through twitter alone. It would be easier to use something like hootsuite (there are others out there too). They let you merge multiple channels of social media and you can choose where you want the one post to go to such as your twitter and fan page. If you do set up a profile, it will just post on that profile not on your fan page. Good luck!

    I’m trying to link Twitter directly to a FB fan page, so that my tweets show up on the fan page and not my personal wall. I used to have it set up this way from 2 separate Twitter accounts to 2 fan pages, so i know this was possible at some point. It’s not working any more and I’m not sure why… Any insight on this? Is there another app that allows this?

    Lydia, I think Jaime’s comment before might be helpful. Try taking a look at some 3rd party apps that allow you to manage Twitter and Facebook accounts!

    I tried to get into twitter from facebook as an application and to make the inverse approach but both ways do not work as they both calme that my paasword is wrong but it is correct, I’m on Google Crome, is there a conflict between twitter nad facebook? Worse, there is no way to get into facebook there is no contact us button on facebook, why?

    Facebook instructs me to log into the twitter account.But when I type my correct username & password,it gives me error msg saying that username or password is incorrect.But I entered correctly.

    Charlene, have been seeing this a lot. I believe this is a bug on Facebook and Twitter’s part.

    I cannot link my facebook and twitter accounts. I can log onto both accounts however when using the twitter/widgets/facebook link it does not accept my user name and password. Help?!?

    When you’re linking your personal page to your Twitter, be sure not to use other platforms like Ping.fm simultaneously as both will flood your wall and will create an impression to your friends that you’re spamming.
