1. HUGE thank you to everyone who came out last night to Jay n Bee to my going away party. The friends I have made out here in San Francisco are completely AWESOME. Special thanks to Aubrey Sabala who spear-headed the event.
2. Today is my last day at Revision3. Sad. Super great experience and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. If you ever wondered what it would be like to work at Revision3 I can sum it up to you in two words: it rocks.
3. Today is a big SXSW day. The panel picker is out and everyone is pimping their ideas. I’m doing a panel with three great friends: Jessica Mah, Chris Lesinski, and Kelly Sutton. The panel is titled, ” The Student 2.0 Revolution” and you can vote for it here!
4. Brett Favre to the Jets is still awesome. I don’t care if I’m a hypocrite (I hate Brett Favre), it is still great for the New York Jets.
5. I’m excited for the New Media Expo in Vegas next week!
6. Here is an iPhone app you should totally check out: Pennies
7. I’ve been working on a few awesome projects with Joe Stump and my brother Gary. Looking forward to releasing one of them soon!
8. I’m really looking forward to going back to school. I have one more year left, and I plan on enjoying it!
9. Happy birthday to my boy Damon Berger!
10. Team USA is going to kill it in Olympic Basketball (no doubt in my mind)
Rather than having me explain it, I will let the wonderful Ron Richards (Director of Marketing & Product Management) tell you everything you need to know about Intern Row:
As summer kicks into gear, we’re proud to introduce you to Intern Row, a new blog that will be written, managed, and produced by the interns here at Revision3. Each one of our wonderful interns will contribute to the blog and it will be updated frequently.
Revision3 is a firm believer in providing opportunity and experience to those who participate in the internship program. We take interns from all across the nation and give each and everyone of them the ability to work on all of our shows from any and every direction; various responsibilities include shooting, editing, promoting, marketing and business development. Intern Row provides yet another opportunity for our interns to talk about their experiences while at Revision3, along with any related interests they may have.
Think of this blog as another way for you to get behind the scenes of Revision3. Not only will the interns discuss their experiences in and out of the office, but they will also blog and vlog about current events along with other various interests of theirs.
After work on Friday a lot of people from Revision3 went out to a bar to simply hang out. It was nice to see the “team comrade re” - the culture at revision3 continues to impress me.
After work I met up with my good friend Rob Sandie for dinner. Along with Rob I got to meet his friends Eric and Phil, along with Phil’s girlfriend Kaitlyn.
That night, I went up to Clear Lake with Rob and crew to hang out at Rob’s family lake house where we spent the night as well as Saturday morning.
Tubing and Jetsking rocked.
Last night I went out to dinner with Kelly Sutton, Chris Lesinski, and Jeff Hodsdon. We went to the Little Chihuahua as per Maurcio Balvanera. The food was GREAT!
After dinner we made our way to Aubrey’s birthday party. That whole night from that point on way an absolute blast.
This morning I had breakfast with Kevin Rose. We ate at a cool spot, but I forget what it’s called :-/
After breakfast I met up with Joe Stump and Jeff Hodsdon to brainstorm / hack at Maxfield’s. We got some cool stuff in the works, so look out for that!
Tonight I’m catching up on some sleep, doing some laundry, and watching the Lakers game.
Nothing too crazy, but I felt as if I should post a quick little update!
Yesterday Revision3 faced Digg in Dodgeball in an epic battle. The results? Revision3 destroyed Digg! 5 games to 1 (and the one game Digg won was complete nonsense since there was a catch involved that was not counted and thus completely changed the course of the entire game)
