For those of you who read my blog, or have visited within the past day or two you probably saw my income report from last month (July 2007). Many readers took the time to email me and ask me how I did it, and these same readers seemed discouraged by their earnings. Adsense is not a sprint, it is a marathon. You will learn how to position your ads and blend them properly. You will make more content for your site, you will improve your SEO. You will not earn ridiculous money right away! Keep working and it will come to you.
Wine Critic, not the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of my brother Gary Vaynerchuk. When you hear the words wine critic, you think of older snobby rich gentlemen.
Does this look like an older, snobby, rich gentleman?
Didn’t think so. In fact, I don’t even know if Gary falls into a category. Unless there is a category for “Ridiculously entertaining video blogging geniuses who work 24/7 and love every minute of it.” Even then I am not sure that truly describes Gary. He is more than what I am saying, and if you watch
Wine Library TV, you know what I am getting at.
Just now, as I am writing this blog post I am coming to the realization that it is tough to describe Gary in words, I guess that is why he is a video blogger. I guess that is why the description for tonight’s show says “wine critic,” even Conan didn’t know how to describe him!

Had my best month ever with Adsense coming in at just under $6,000.
Compare this my adsense income in June, which only totaled $2,264.58.
To be truthfully honest, the reason for the HUGE increase has a lot to do with luck on the CPM front, and some extra work that came due to said luck.
